I was born and raised in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. After immigrating to the United States, I lived in North Jersey, then South Jersey, near Philadelphia. I am a senior undergraduate student double majoring in Political Science and English and a member of the 2025 cohort of Eagleton Undergraduate Associates. This summer, I was part of the Rutgers Scarlet Service in Washington, DC (RSS-DC), where I interned at the U.S. Department of Education. After graduating from university, I plan to attend law school and practice law in the tri-state area. On campus, I have been involved with organizations like the Rutgers University Mock Trial Association, Latinx Pre-Law Society, and Rutgers Union of Cuban American Students. This year, I am working on a book-length creative writing English honors thesis. I am an editor for the Eagleton Political Journal.
