Willa McBride

Willa McBride is a senior in the Honors College on the Camden campus, majoring in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. She is highly active on campus as President of the Black Student Union and Political Science Society and serves as Secretary of the RUC NAACP. Over the summer, Willa interned with the Women’s Bureau at the U.S. Department of Labor, researching menstrual product access and paid leave, and conducted an independent study on Superwoman Schema and its impact on Black women professionals. A Racial Justice Learning Community (RAJU) Fellow and Eagleton Undergraduate Associate at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, she is passionate about race, gender, and advocacy. Willa plans to attend law school, focusing on women’s interests and civil rights.
